7th December 2011– Bluegiga WT11 Class 1 Bluetooth module has been significantly improved with a new power amplifier design which increases transmit power from +12dBm to +17dBm and improves receive sensitivity from -83dBm to -85dBm. The new design will significantly improve range and data throughput over longer distances. The new product code for the enhanced product is WT11i and will replace the WT11 in Bluegiga’s module line up. All WT11 users will be required to make to transition to WT11i.
